Typophiles Luncheon | Jesse Ragan | Designing Typefaces: Principles in Practice
 
 

Typeface designer and teacher Jesse Ragan will reveal the fundamental tenets of his process. Examples from his work will range from custom type families for The New York Public Library & The Museum for African Art, to digital revivals of 1890s decorative types & Rudolph Ruzicka's unreleased designs. Ragan also will discuss Type@Cooper, the typeface design certificate program he co-founded at The Cooper Union in 2010.
