I have a knack for explaining typeface design.

I’ve given many public lectures and workshops across the United States and internationally. Please let me know if you’d like to invite me somewhere new!

I was a co-founder and primary instructor of Type@Cooper, the certificate program at Cooper Union, and have also taught at Pratt Institute. With eight years of teaching experience, I am currently taking a break from teaching, aside from the occasional workshop.
